The Health Unit Coordinator Certificate program provides quality education to persons seeking clerical positions in hospitals and health clinics. Graduates will be prepared for various clerical positions in admitting offices, emergency rooms and nursing units of health care facilities.
Expected Starting Salary for Graduates
$12.00 per hour
The STNA Certificate course consists of classroom instructions, lab in a simulated patients room and a minim of 16 clinical hours under the direct supervision of a qualified instructor. Trainees passing this course will be eligible to take the State Test. Graduates will be trained to provide quality care to patients in hospitals and health clinics.

The one-year Orthopaedic (bones) Technologist Certificate program is designed to provide graduates with lifetime professional skills in a rapidly expanding allied health field. Orthopaedic Technologists apply, adjust and remove casts, splints and braces for orthopaedic injuries. Graduates will be prepared to assist Orthopaedic Surgeons in the treatment of patients in a variety of health care environments. They are employed in hospitals, clinics, and private practice offices.
